Hey there! It's Bri. Your part-time poet and full-time fanatic, collector of odd things, rambler, long-time leopard print enthusiast, wearer of too many rings, caffeine addict, and a dancer around rooms and studios. I aspire to produce work worthy of the muse and creator. As such, often, my work centers around femininity, gender, girlhood, madness, grief, and religion.
I grew up surrounded by the arts, and now allow my experience and constant consumption of them to inform my work. Most notably, in September 2025, I moved to London, where I am currently completing my Master's in Creative Writing and writing my debut novel— a psychological drama set against the backdrop of mid-1980s/1990s NYC that explores the path of grief and generational trauma through the relationships between art and artists seeking escape.
The sum of my work has to do with connecting with individuals in the broad landscape that is built by art. I interview musicians and authors, and when I’m not pouring my efforts into my own personal projects, I do my best to promote others fairly and honestly. I contribute to several music/entertainment-based publications and run my own Substack page, fig., where I share poetry/prose, essays, think pieces, reviews, and personal updates. There is nothing I love more than devoting myself to dissecting and analyzing our media and determining how it affects our culture and development as humans.
